The mats were worse than we thought and despite Jen trying to leave Bella's hair longer, we had to go with shaving. The plan is to keep her groomed every 4 weeks or so with some comb outs in between if needed. We are going to let her grow to about 1 - 1 1/2 inches after this.
She looks so different but she is still my Bella.
