I had occasion to speak with one of the founders of Fearless Kitty Rescue, the rescue that took Friskie in for me when I was so desperate last year. I forgot to write about it but Friskie was fostered by one of their volunteers who then adopted her. And that was the last I heard.
But, as I mentioned, today I spoke with one of the Fearless Kitty Rescue founders and as we talked I mentioned Friskie to her. She immediately made the connection and remembered Friskie and her new Mommy very well.
She smiled and then said, "Don't you worry about Friskie. She's living the good life."
I'm happy for Friskie. I'm happy she has the home that she so deserves and makes her happy. Apparently, Friskie is in charge and her family loves her very much.
This makes me happy and I know it makes Mom happy to know that her baby is safe and will be cared for forever.
Friskie deserves to be living the good life.
