Our little girl is 13 years old today!
I can still remember the day we got her. I was knee deep in puppies at a friend's house trying to decide when I heard John having a quiet little conversation with someone. I looked over and there was John sitting in a lawn chair holding a small little Golden and telling her how pretty she was and did she want to come home with us? I knew it was time to stop looking. Apparently, Jessie had walked over to John, he picked her up, and the choice had been made. It was love at first sight on her side and ours.
