Toby had surgery today

I recently found another lump on Toby and we decided to have it removed since she has had cancerous tumors before.
So now she's home and recuperating. She had a pain pill this evening and is now relaxing with her siblings.

Kind of makes up for all the times they terrorize everyone - kind of.

Cortisone

Toby had a hot spot on her tail last week that got out of control.

Usually I just spray them with a hydrocortisone spray and it clears up within 24 hours. Not this time. Poor baby was very uncomfortable so I had the vet come over [I love that man - he comes to the house which is awesome! Vet on Wheels]. He had to shave her tail to get the mats out and expose the sore to the air. She is now on antibiotics and cortisone pills.
An unknown [to me] side effect of the cortisone is that it makes her drink a lot which makes her have to pee a lot and she has been having accidents in the house. She is very upset by that as am I. But it's not her fault and hopefully when the pills are done [tomorrow] that side effect will go away.
